Concord Coalition Executive Director Robert Bixby will be the opening speaker for CABE's 2009-2010 season.
CABE is a 501(c)3 organization and one of 43 local or regional chapters of the National Association for Business Economics (NABE). CABE meets 8-10 times during what is referred to as the academic year, usually for lunch on the 2nd or 3rd Monday of the month, though that can vary to accommodate speakers' schedules. CABE has about 125 members consisting of employees of large corporations such as Eaton, smaller companies such as some investment & bank groups and branches; local colleges & universities, smaller businesses, retirees, independent consultants, and sometimes some grad students. Members range in age from mid-20s to early 80s.
