- Dr. Alice Rivlin -- member of the Presidential Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform, Inaugural Congressional Budget Office Director, former Vice-Chair of the Federal Reserve under Chairman Greenspan, Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget during the Clinton Administration and Co-Chair of the Bipartisan Policy Center Debt Reduction Task Force
- The Honorable David Walker -- founder and CEO of the Comeback America Initiative and former Comptroller General of the United States
- Robert Bixby -- Executive Director of the Concord Coalition and member of the Bipartisan Policy Center Debt Reduction Task Force
The Concord Coalition, in collaboration with the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs and Deloitte, is bringing The Fiscal Solutions Tour to Austin, including a public presentation hosted by the LBJ School of Public Affairs, on February 9, 2011. Expert panelists will dialogue with attendees about how to build a stronger economic future by meeting the challenges of unsustainable budget policies, spiraling debt, low savings rates, risks from reliance on foreign lenders, and the growing needs of an aging population.

The Fiscal Solutions Tour is a public engagement campaign hosted by the nonpartisan Concord Coalition and the Peter G. Peterson Foundation to discuss potential solutions to our nation's fiscal challenges. The program will include speakers of diverse ideological perspectives suggesting options to reform our current budget deficits, our growing national debt, and the long-term fiscal consequences of the Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid programs.
