The Federal Budget Challenge is the online version of Concord's Principles & Priorities exercise. Created in collaboration with California-based non-profit Next 10, The Challenge is a truly interactive game in which players must think and act like U.S. congressmen. 

In this online budget simulation, users work through different policy categories. Within each category, users must choose which spending and tax policies fit their preferences while being mindful of budgetary effects. Once the user accepts or rejects a policy, the program reflects how that decision would alter the projected 10-year budget deficit. Are you up to the challenge?
