Current and former congressional leaders paid tribute to former New Hampshire Senator Warren Rudman. He died on November 19, 2012, at the age of 82. Senator Rudman was best remembered as a key player in the budget negotiations of the 1980's and for serving as the ranking Republican during the Iran-Contra hearings. He also helped orchestrate the appointment of retired Supreme Court Justice David Souter.
