The Georgetown University College Democrats and College Republicans will be co-hosting a Fiscal Future Forum on Thursday, April 15, 2010 in Room 202 of White Gravenor Hall from 7:30 to 9:30pm. There will be a screening of the film, I.O.U.S.A following by a bipartisan, inter-generational panel discussion about solutions to our country's fiscal challenges.
On the panel:
Stefan Byrd-Krueger is the youth outreach coordinator at the Concord Coalition, a non-profit organization that advocates fiscal responsibility.
Ed Lorenzen is a senior policy adviser to House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer who helped pass the recent PAYGO legislation.
Donald Marron, a professor at Georgetown's public policy institute, was former acting director of the Congressional Budget Office, member of President Bush's Council of Economic Advisers, and Executive Director of Congress’s Joint Economic Committee.
The panel will be moderated by Ryan Schoenike, a recent American University alumnus and co-founder of http://www.wecantpaythattab.org.
