We are deeply saddened by the news of Harold Janeway’s passing. If there was one thing that characterized Janeway, it was his commitment to future generations.
He demonstrated this with his life’s work and through his many philanthropic endeavors. Janeway was a well-known conservationist, a level-headed financial expert, a pragmatic leader that focused on long-term policy decisions and he worked tirelessly in the service of others.
Janeway was also a founding member of The Concord Coalition’s New Hampshire Advisory Board, where he was instrumental in the organization’s work around the state. He even coined the phrase that now describes Concord’s national volunteers, “Fiscal Lookouts.”
His generosity and passion knew no bounds. The community has lost a giant, and he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with his family. Read more about Janeway and find information about his memorial service by clicking here.
