The Concord Coalition will present individual interviews with New Hampshire congressional candidates on federal budget issues over the next few weeks on “Facing the Future,” its weekly radio show and podcast.
Republican and Democratic candidates in the First and Second Congressional Districts will be asked about federal deficits, health care, taxes, defense spending, Social Security and other domestic spending programs.
Hosted by Chase Hagaman, Concord’s New England regional director, the show has featured experts on the federal budget, former lawmakers, prominent state leaders and others discussing the fiscal challenges that face the country.
The series of candidate interviews begins this week with “Candidates on the Issues: Deaglan McEachern,” which can be heard via radio or podcast. McEachern, a Democrat, is running in the First Congressional District.
Additional candidate interviews will take place in coming weeks, with each new program becoming available on Wednesdays.
The Concord Coalition does not endorse or oppose political candidates or parties.
The “Facing the Future” radio program can be heard weekly on WKXL 103.9 FM, NH Talk Radio, and streaming-online at 3 p.m. Wednesdays, 9 a.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. Sundays.
“Facing the Future” is also available via podcast on The Concord Coalition’s website, iTunes, Google Play Music and on WKXL’s Soundcloud feed.
Past programming, including candidate interviews, is archived on Concord’s website.
