WASHINGTON —  The Concord Coalition will host a panel discussion this Friday on Capitol Hill about opportunities for fiscal reform in the next Congress.

The one-hour program, open to the public, will feature three of the nation’s leading non-partisan experts on the fiscal and economic challenges ahead:

WASHINGTON —  The Concord Coalition will host a panel discussion this Friday on Capitol Hill about opportunities for fiscal reform in the next Congress.

The one-hour program, open to the public, will feature three of the nation’s leading non-partisan experts on the fiscal and economic challenges ahead:

  • Marc Goldwein, senior policy director with The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget

  • Steve Bell, senior director of economic policy with the Bipartisan Policy Center

  • Robert L. Bixby, executive director of The Concord Coalition

The program will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. this Friday in Room 210 of the Cannon House Office Building. Media coverage is welcome.

The discussion will include the possibilities for reform of Social Security, the tax code, Medicare and other government health programs, the debt ceiling and domestic infrastructure programs.
